It's time for the first homework of the new school year! Hooray!!!
It is to read the short story Robin Hood Takes a Bath and rewrite it as a horror story. I have handed out a paper copy of the story, but, unfortunately, can't post it here as I don't have permission from the publisher.
This links in with the work we have been doing on genre, so your story doesn't need to be brilliant and it doesn't need to be very long (around 300 words), but I want you to think about some of the things we expect to happen in horror stories and some of the kinds of words you would expect to see. In the lesson we will come up with a list of helpful words as a class and I will then post them on here and give you a hard copy.
This is due tomorrow (Tuesday) unless you have a note from whoever looks after you explaining why you were not able to do it.
